FE power intake adapter mods
« on: August 25, 2016, 04:28:02 PM »
Has anyone milled down the top of the ports close to the level of the valve cover rail ?
With my intakes installed it looks like it should be no prob but wondering if anyone has done this.

I don't know of anyone who has done it but I agree it should be no problem.  I leave that material there in case there is a future need for adding fuel injectors; the extra material allows an injector bung to be cut into the tops of the ports.

Makes since to me, I'm wanting to add fogger nozzles and they don't have quite that much reach so really I'm just wanting to take them down enough to be able to get the nozzle positioned properly in the port. I want to do it on the adapter instead of the intake itself so if I switch back and forth from a single 4500 on my funnel Web or my two modified 660's on my home made hybrid intake I'll be able to retain the fogger setup on the adapter base.
That's the plan anyway.  ;D
