John Cooper and his FE powered '64 Fairlane A/SA made it through first round of stock at Indy, let's hope he can keep it going! I've been commenting for a couple years now how the new FS Factory Stock cars are taking over Indy. As there are more and more of them every year it just keeps adding to their dominance. Couple that with the special Factory Stock race there that draws them too.

Kind of sad that three of the four semifinalists in Stock were the Factory Stock new cars. Remember it was not that many years ago that Jim and Eric Waldo were the Stock finalists in stickshift FE cars.
