Any hard core racers here using the 7AL-3 ?
I just got a brand new one in the box in a trade.  Had planed on selling it but the more I look at it I'm thinking ll keep it. I'm liking the feature's and think I'll retire y old MSD. This one will let me do away with a few external boxes and clean up things. Just wondering.

I've got two 7AL-3's, one in the race car and a spare. I've yet to fire it up, but I also like all the built in features, no need for external modules. Only downside is it still uses the rev limiter chips, so as long as you have a few different ones, it should be okay.

I don't know if I fit the "hard-core racer" description, but I have used a MSD 7AL-3 for a long time.  No issues, integrates functions that you used to have add-on boxes to get using a 7AL-2.
