Help with fasteners
« on: February 19, 2016, 10:14:41 PM »
Before I go through the trouble of making my own I figured I'd see if anyone could guide me to a source.
I need ,
6 - 5/16" x 24 x 1" long "button head" (preferred) or hex head with hex bolts.
Here's the thing though, I need either hex or square nub on the thread end. Something to get a wrench or socket on and be able to turn it from that end.  I would have sworn I had seen like body panel bolts like this in the past. The only body panel bolts I can find though just have the smooth round end on the thread end. I'm not really looking for body panel bolts but they would work as long as they had the hex or square nub on the end. I'd like to have a decent quality bolt, grade 8 preferred but a 5 would do.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Don't know if this could be used since it's not 100% correct size but maybe they can help you if this one doesn't do it.

Thanks, I'll check them out, something like that could work if I can find fine thread. If not I'll just Chuck some up and modify them..
