Dynamat or similar product

Anyone use this in their ride? Dynamat has quite a few different products. What I'm wanting to do is block the firewall heat that is pretty noticeable in the summer and deaden road noise. THought I'd see if anyone had an experience with Dynamat or another product.

I've use a few different types.  I think I'll try RaaMat on my truck when I do that.
They all work decently.  No matter what type you use, how much coverage does a good bit more than what kind (within reason).

I also like using Boom mat spray can stuff to put down first.

Excellent! I'll check out Acousti Sheild and the RaaMat.

I use duct insulation, it is foil faced with bubble mat in between. It blocks heat and noise, also is very lightweight. Any material that has an air chamber in between two surfaces offers better acoustic and temperature insulation.

Not a bad idea there. Deliberately adding weight is heresy...

I used a product called Fatmat looks just like Dynamat and half the price.

There is a company in Denver  B AND D SUPPLY  that sells the insulation in rolls  and it is very  inexpensive.
There are several  different  thicknesses  i bought a 6 feet roll (its 48 inches  wide)  and did my entire floor and the firewall for my 68  convert   and had much leftover.  I think I paid less than 25.00 for the roll.
