Hindsight being 20/20, Joe, I definitely should have done one.  But I really haven't had a lot of time this summer to write up all the "adventures"  ::)  When I get to Drag Week this year I'll do my regular daily blog, and start off with a recap of stuff leading up to the event - Jay
Jay Brown
- 1969 Mach 1, Drag Week 2005 Winner NA/BB, 511" FE (10.60s @ 129); Drag Week 2007 Runner-Up PA/BB, 490" Supercharged FE (9.35 @ 151)
- 1964 Ford Galaxie, Drag Week 2009 Winner Modified NA (9.50s @ 143), 585" SOHC
- 1969 Shelby Clone, Drag Week 2015 Winner Modified NA (Average 8.98 @ 149), 585" SOHC

I'm hoping to go back with the Shelby clone and the big SOHC.  If that doesn't work out, I'll take my Mach 1 with the high riser.

That hi riser is my favorite engine of yours Jay.
The SOHC is awesome but there is something about the screaming banshee whine of the hi riser that gets into my blood.

I think I may be settling on something like yours for my mustang.
I've definatly junked the mod motor idea. (BTW if anyone wants a Teksid block and B heads  and a bunch of innards, I'll make you a screamin' deal).

As far as your blogging, it is fantastic reading. I know it's a bitch for you to write it all down (especially if things don't go well), but I think I can speak for everyone, "we love it".
