Have not used a carburetor on anything for some years. I'm a GIANT fan of EFI. That being said, I had wonderful experiences with DCOE side draughts long ago. Great power and looks, glorious sounds, and even good fuel mileage, all considered.

Here's another option like Barry was talking about. http://www.borlainduction.com/200073-v8-kit-ford-427-fe-35mm-air-horn.html Not sure what all is included for installation but for sure the intake, 58mm throttle bodies, air horns, fuel rails, and some sensors.

I cant justify $6000 for an induction system, im able to get a weber set up for a discount or just run a quick fuel with a turkey pan, for now I'm going turkey pan and 4 barrel route, I would love to know how much it costs to produce a $6000 efi system at cost...

Can't blame you there. Thought I would throw another option out there. I would probably go the carb route too, but the efi would be the best of both worlds.

If it was a daily driver I would, but a weekend a nighttime warrior im just going carb, I really can do both, each induction is period correct for my build, I have a turkey pan already and I like a quick fuel carb or there alike, if I can somehow get a weber set up it would have to be with the 58 ida I may, the self learning efi are really neat, I just never hear good things about them in the big inch motors...they are priced cheap enough to consider...
