64 Gal' driver project
« on: May 14, 2015, 03:55:50 AM »
G'day all,
I'll have a go at posting some pix of my '64 Galaxie driver.
She's fairly original 500 XL survivor. The interior has been replaced before I got her but the body and drive train are, I believe, original. 4V 390, T10 4 speed.

First pic is "love at first sight" the day I went for a look and fell in love.....

Second pic, she needs some body work and........ that roof!....

Third pic,  but the interior looks good

More later.
Phil.

Thanks,  A previous owner replaced the interior maybe 10 years ago, it was originally blue.  I'm not complaining though, just have to paint the dash black to match.  8)

Timeless classic from the days when car stylists were encouraged to use their imagination.  Enjoy it.

Phil,
I've got a 63 Fastback, looks to be the same color as yours.  If you're in need of any resto parts, check out www.gregdonahue.com.  He specializes in 63-64 only and has everything in his catalog in stock.  Great project!

When I had a spare minute I did a little body work.  I'm happy with the results,  not bad for an amateur.
