I'm thinking the "ghost" ought to be pretty pissed off
« on: March 27, 2015, 01:09:53 PM »
Received this from Ford Performance in my email.  Several details caught my eye that I believe are flagrantly wrong for a GT350 and others I'm not sure of:  3-spd non-lock out shift lever, badly pot-marked chrome horn button and non-Shelby  steering wheel, pure class of two bolts holding shifter boot down w/o chrome plate,  rear 1/4 fastback louvers, wasn't "the rumor" 350 feet not 350 yards?.  I'm presume there's more? .......... Just hard to comprehend Ford not obtaining a better specimen of a GT350  for an ad that's after all banking on the GT350's heritage.............I think there would have been plenty of Shelby owners that would have enjoyed having their car immortalized in a Ford Ad.

You could say it's a "20-footer".  You're right, lots of 90+ point Shelbys around that could've been used...
