I am 95% sure that they are changing to the Ford firing order after you take into account the different numbering systems.

I am going to have to change my ignition and injector sequences by rewiring the injectors and moving my wires around. I considered having a custom cam ground to use a 5.0HO firing order but I could not find a blank to do it with as the lobes are totally off center. My solution that seems most logical is to leave the timing and sequence alone and modify the PTCM wiring. Gasket wise the Fel-Pro print-o-seals can't be beat, you can trim them if needed.

The Mr. Gasket 206G should fit, that is for a standard low riser FE port like a 428CJ.

The firing order swap you are talking about is from 1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8 (standard FE) to 1-5-4-8-6-3-7-2.  This is supposed to be good for a 10-15 horsepower increase on a high horsepower engine.  But, you need a cam to take advantage of that swap, and I don't know of any cam companies who are doing this for the FE, without a lot of expense (meaning a custom cam blank).  Of course, if you had a small block Chevrolet, it would be no problem...

Okay thats the flathead/y-block f-order. The reason i ask is
the guy who is porting my heads. Wanted to design a cam
for the engine and asked if there maby is cam blanks for changed
F-order.He mostly work with CBB and Volvo rallycross
engines but  thought it was interesting to work with something
odd :o.He was impressed with the quality on your intake adapter
