Streetmaster?
« on: June 05, 2014, 10:06:48 PM »
I'm still kicking around ideas for the upcoming FE build for my custom '76 F100 shortbed street cruiser.  Right now, it's looking like a 414, since the 482 fell through.  Ed heads, 10:1'ish, Comp 270 or 280, 3.89 gears (32" tires), 2000 stall torque converter.  Probably a Quickfuel 735 carb. Anyway, I was reading the thread about cleaning a Streetmaster in the non-FE forum, and thought "hey, I have a Streetmaster, maybe that will work".  I have an old Performer 390 laying around, too.
Thoughts?

I think the Streetmaster would be a great intake for that combination.  A lot better than the Performer...
