Rare, KW marked original 1967 Kelsey Wheel rims - pair
« on: February 04, 2014, 01:24:12 AM »
Very rare 15 inch "solid center" rims that only came on big block Ford and Mercury cars. Pair. These will fit disc brakes.

Correct for 1967 Mercury Super Marauder, and possibly others. Stamped "KW" as well as Ford logo and I believe the number "66" which may represent the year they were made by Kelsey.

Currently have bad tires on them. Have been repainted and are in good shape. I could remove the tires and ship at your cost.

Pics upon request.

I have 3 and want to keep 1. These would be concourse correct wheels though, for a Q code, 1966 or 1967 Ford or Mercury, as well as an option for older cars if you wanted to keep a classic style but upgrade to front discs. Short story? Front wheels from a 1967, Q code (428), Mercury Park Lane. OEM and in good shape.

$300

I'm not 100% sure, but I think they are 15 x 5.5 with 4 inch backspacing.

They should be exactly like the solid center, 67 marked rims shown here:

http://homepages.wmich.edu/~dillery/facts.html

"There is a Ford KW wheel that is 15" x 5.5" with a 4" back spacing and no opening, shown below."

I don't need to sell. Mostly I'm looking for more info on these old KW marked steel wheels. I may be asking way too much, or not enough,  but if you need these, I have a couple I could part with.
