Port matching a Street Dominator

Started working on scribing the intake for port matching.  This was pretty easy as the head is exactly the same size as a FelPro 90145, so it’s just a matter of scribing/locating the gasket on the intake then outlining the ports.  The issue is the ports will need a LOT of opening, and it looks like the walls will get very thin if I try to go all the way to the scribe line.  There’s more meat right at the intake flange, if I can’t open it all the way to the head opening, would it help to lay back the opening of the intake where there’s more material, to help it transition a bit?  The intake will be smaller than the head so shouldn’t be any sharp edges (I know Jay found it didn’t really matter anyway on lower hp combos).  Got very lucky and the intake sits perfectly with the valve cover rail on all four corners.

I don’t intend to touch the floor, I was actually happy to see it was so high, hopefully it will act as a ramp and the air won’t follow the low floor in the heads.

Started with the plenum.  I took the ears out and raised the port opening and rolled the entry from the upper plenum as best I could.

Thanks to Joe for the tip, getting easier to keep the walls straight and within set width using his advice.  Previously I’d do sides first and the corners would get rounded, which required that I push the walls out to meet the corner and it was a lot tougher to keep them straight.
