I bought this, last year and it's slowed the chassis work on my Austin Healey but, I'm having fun.
This is my second '60. I had a Galaxie Club Sedan from '64 until about '70. It was one of my favorite cars of all time and definitely my favorite full size Ford. I just had to have another and this one is a real jewel! Not that it's in great shape. It's not, as it has a lot rust you can see but, I am only the third registered owner. It was sold new in Portland OR, then sold to the guys son in WA and I bought it there.
It could be as close a clone to a original HP 360 as you can get but, I won't keep it as a 352. It will wind up, between 390 and 412 cid. I want to stay in that range for reasonable mileage so, I can drive it a lot.
Right now it has the original heads and intake but, this spring, it's getting a set of C3AE-C heads (67cc & CJ valves) and a 390 HP intake and short headers, with 2.5 exhaust. No cam change but adj rockers. When looking under the car, I found that the block is a C3AE-E so, they will at least match

I measured the stroke but, I won't know the bore, until I replace the heads. last, before the end of Spring, I'm hoping to get a 4.11 third member built, to go with the T85 OD trans.
In the engine compartment, I put a oval air cleaner, on top of a 390 PU, 600 cfm Holley. I had to replace the fuel pump after I replaced the fuel tank with a high volume AC pump, because the fuel part of the dual diaphragm pump was bad and I had it, on hand. I then had to add a electric vacuum pump, for the windshield wipers. I also installed a 1 wire alternator.
I also got a good deal on a pair of 275 60 15, Nitto drag radials.
