428 oil system

Hello
 On the super cobra jet there is a  oil cooler, the oil that goes from the pump thru filter and then too the engine. Do all the oil goes thru the cooler ore is there a little by pass in the filter adapter on the scj engine so a little slip stream of oil not goes thru the filter?

All of the oil goes through the cooler but there is a spring loaded bypass for pressure that is too high (for whatever reason).

One more thing,if the super cobra jet moves too another place where its colder place and changes the gears in the rear,could the oil cooler bee source soo the oil will get too cool. I acume that the filter adapter dont have a TCV function in it, the cooler starts too cool the oil as soon as you start the engine and start driving, could this result that the oil will bee too cold fore the engine?

The original 428 SCJ engines were designed to be used in winter conditions, as well as summer conditions.  So I think that the oil being too cold because of the oil cooler is not possible.  Of course, it is always a good idea to warm up the engine on a very cold day, before driving.
