I am thinking hard about converting my 482 to a sohc the part that scares me is getting a parts list. Who should I try for a list of what I need I am not in the USA so that adds an extra layer of problems.

I'am thinking 20k and 12 months should be close to find all parts instock and buy them dose that sound in the ball park?

robert pond motorsports.i think they will ship international.also, precision oil pumps has a lot of the small parts as well.
you may cost more to ship directly so consider an exporter to load in a container.you will have to change pistons as well.diamond has them and racetech can make them as well.

If I had the cash to build a SOHC, I think I would start out with a new block, rather than taking a stout engine apart.  If nothing else, you'll still be able to enjoy your car while you are finishing the new mill.

As always, advice is worth what you pay for it.  It's easy to spend someone's money for them.
