My preference is original but I will use a good repro if available. I have shopped FE parts in years and the selection has really dried up!
I know blue thunder made a repro but I've never seen one or ever been able to purchase anything blue thunder.

Blue Thunder seems to sell the majority of their stuff directly on eBay these days, and also some through their dealers. They also tend to make the intake manifolds in batches, so you have to watch for them. They make both the “C7ZX” marked and plain versions of the Ford 2-4 bbl MR intakes, and I see them listed on eBay at least a couple times a year, although I don’t see any at the moment, but I’d guess the’ll be back. Put “Blue Thunder Intake Manifold” in your search if you try that path, at the moment it looks like they have some of their single 4 bbl FE intakes, and other Ford engine family intakes listed.
