WTB; 69 Cobra (Torino) wheel lip mouldings!
« on: April 29, 2025, 04:28:27 AM »
Looking to find a decent set of wheel lip moldings for my 69 Cobra formal roof project. I would also consider decent driver quality 69 Torino deluxe wheel covers with the red centers. Lastly, kicking around the idea of original sport mirrors, so just let me know? Keep in mind that with any of these parts,  you will probably need to be wiling to ship......unless you live somewhere near Columbus, Ohio.

Appreciate all of you guys very much and this forum! Feel free to call or text direct.

Melvins classic Ford parts has them; here's a link to one of them.  I bought them for my 69 Cobra fastback and they fit fine.

Thanks Jay!

How is your car coming along? Could we see pictures?

Thanks,

Sure, pics below.  The car is fitted with my 492" Sideoiler FE, ported Edelbrock heads, Performer RPM intake, Holley 750 double pumper carb, solid roller cam and lifters, Precision Oil Pumps valvetrain, and FPA headers.  4 speed and 3.91 Detroit locker.  The car has the factory oil cooler setup and a reproduction ram air setup.  I haven't had it to the track, but it feels like an easy 11 second car.
