I have Airlift bags in th rear springs of my '66 7Litre and they work fine.  I've used them in other '66 Galaxies and never had a problem with them.  Setting the ride height is easy and I just add air when I'm going to carry a heavy load.

I'll have to check into the airlift option.  My son is a dealer/installer so it shouldn't be too difficult.  :)
