Flying christmastree

Yesterday the airforce with 6 JAS, together with  the Finnish airforce 6 F18s. Flew the Traditional Christmas formation over North of Sweden. They came right over my house so wife took a pic. It was a mighty thunder

I love it!!  Up until a few years ago Boeing had a service facility for B-1 bombers close to my house.  My neighbor worked for Boeing and would let me know when one was going to take off.

The sound was unbelievable because they would take off on full afterburner.  If it was evening you were treated to the four columns of blue flame with shock diamonds inside.  That's freedom!!
A careful study of failure will yield the ingredients for success.

I think they flew together with B-1s the southern part of Sweden. I think there is some B-1s stationed in
LuleĆ„ close  to me. I heard them but never seen them
