Wanted: Early Bronco 4x4 to smallblock C4 transmission.
« on: June 25, 2024, 01:17:03 PM »
Hello all.
I am working on a 1966 Bronco and converting it to a C4 automatic and 289 V8.
All stock in appearance and perfromance, but I am searching for a Bronco 4x4 C4 if I can get my hands on one.

Behind that box of old Chrismas ornaments?
Under the tarp that was placed there when your kid was still in 11th grade?
Maybe under the bench shelf waiting...just in case.

Have ya got a C4 for me?

Probably will need to join some bronco groups. There is a good Bronco forum Classic broncos . com is a good on that is still fairly active. Then there are many Bronco groups on FB, that is a fairly hard to find core and usually expensive when you do, Thanks Lance.

I have one less tailhousig,  but short tail shaft is still good installed.  Believe it’s a pan fill case with tube and dip stick.  Have bell housing for case and pan fill transmissions, block saver plates for 157 tooth or 164(pan fill cases only).  Good core.

I’ll check tomorrow for part number on case and if you PM me I will give you my email and send pics.
