Holley needle and seats ... viton tips or ??
« on: October 07, 2023, 08:54:52 PM »
I have Holley 80457-1.. the rear seat is not sealing

It is an older version than the ones on Holley's site

Also have a fairly new sealed pack of 2 needle and seats # 85R8514K

They cross over to Holley  6-506

Searching the web, info shows both part numbers to have viton tips

Any know if is so please ??

Throw one of the new assemblies in there Ricky. It could be the old O ring is the culprit. I see those have a shorter life these days.

I have had issues with the o ring on the needle  and seat also .Allstate carburetor will sell you a pack of o rings for that needle and seat for less than the price of one holley needle and seat .It seems to me they dont last very long .Doug
