Tool recommendations

Setting up a bench in my garage for heads. I was hoping for a Rimac spring tester. Can’t find one. What’s a recommendation for a decent spring tester? I’m not afraid to spend a little, one time.

A racing friend bought a "refurbished" Rimac (500lbs) from an internet supplier at a fair price. Have you tried Google or just searched on ebay?  Unless you are building heads for NHRA class racing that model Rimac should suffice.

I think I’m going with an Intercomp. Looks like a reasonable middle of the road solution.

I use an Intecomp, wasn't cheap but not crazy either.  Nice thing is that it is repeatable, easy and seems to be very accurate

The cheaper ones were all over the map.  I wanted a Rimac too, and still want one for bench art LOL I just think they look cool, and of course were the best at one time, but the Intercomp is really nice, you can't go wrong

Thanks Brent, I have a sizable credit on my Snapon dealers truck, so he ordered one for me today.

FWIW, I use only an Intercomp for my NHRA engines; love the accuracy and repeatability plus Intercomp will sell you individual repair parts if required. The only knock you will likely hear will come from "production" shops that they are too slow compared to Rimac. Guarantee, you will be happy with your purchase.
