Loved that video.
 Of all the racing I have done I love to drive the road courses better then anything else. 
I have drove in all types of racing but the thrill of road racing is the best.
I was real surprised that the number 92 Galaxie did so good at the start of the race and I expected the T-bolt to pull away more when he got the lead but like the announcers said he might have used his tires up coming from the back.

Yep, very cool. There are many other Aussie, NZ, and Continental UK races on YouTube that have FE powered Galaxies and the lone Thunderbolt (UK only) in amazing road races. Yes, the Galaxies and the T-Bolt typically lose all rear grip near the end of these still somewhat short, by American standards, races. Rubber is not full race baldy NASCAR type tires either, hence shaved street tires are mainly used.

It's amazing how hard it was for a 427, to catch and pass a 91 CI engine.

I had a '67 Cortina, I had 6" & 8" magnesium wheels on it but, it got T boned, out side my place, before I could put one of my spare Atlantic engines in it. The '67's didn't come with twin cams but, had the same base 1500cc engine.

I really miss that car.

A few things there.... first the Galaxies and Minis side by side sure show the drastic size difference!
 Next, one has to wonder why you'd bother to put the huge fat big diameter wheels on those cars when these pizza cutters seem to not only handle just fine but looks like bags of fun to drive

What killed me the most was watching the white Gal drive around with the turn signal on......

Here is Cristensen in a Daytona Coupe, racing against Martin Brundle in a Ferrari GTO. That couple be a fifty million dollar collision if those two wiped out !
