427LX  I just put a 370 posi gear in the truck, right now it has 3 on the tree with overdrive. But later on im going to put a TKO 600 transmission in it.  Thanks for the reply
3.70 is the gear my 65 F-100 liked. Easy to find (1990's) behind a 300 I6 with a manual transmission. Seems half of them I spotted and owned were limited slips.

EDIT: My 3310-4 was new in 1996. Don't know where that falls in the favored Holleys but I liked it. Fairly easy to tune with a manual choke. Seems I ended up 5 sizes bigger on the discharge nozzle with 69-72 jets and tinkered with the meetering plate on the secondaries. Don't know if it cost me anything but I ran the metering block that came with it. Engines ranged from 377 to 406 (.080" over 390). I think your 416 is hotter than my 401 was but the 750 should work our fine. I have heard the CJ 735 and 780 are good street carburetor. Any bigger than that and you'll likely be running a big two barrel with slightly cracked open secondaries.
