FE Builders in Washington State?
« on: November 07, 2012, 03:54:45 PM »
Does anyone know of any FE experts in NW Washington State?

My builder is semi retired and concentrating on Flatheads these days and I need to find a new shop.

Thanks in advance.......MP

Marx: the only WA state FE expert I'm aware of is Jim Green. But even though he has been involved in (Cammer)  FE's since the beginning of time, I cannot vouch for what he's done in a long time. Calling around would help.

Thanks Macho,   Jims is only 50 miles from me and 30 years ago that would have been my choice but Ive heard that it's not the  Ford centered shop it once was.
I'm keeping him in mind, but want to keep looking.

As a mater of fact, back in 1980 , a friend  and I stopped at his old shop in Lynnwood to check out some cars parked out front and Jim came out and before we left he had talked my buddy into buying a SOHC engine, still in the crate!

Unfortunately, my friends  Mrs.  foiled  that plan and later even talked him into selling his 70 Mach1.

He's still kicking himself over that, 30 years and 3 wives later.........MP
