Factory dual quad intake casting question
« on: May 04, 2018, 04:02:36 PM »
I have two dual quad intakes, one a ford tunnelwedge , the other a H/M dual plane C7ZX type manifold (I say type as it has no casting number on it and is lacking the cast in vacuum ports). Both manifolds do not have the water temp sender boss ever machined. Can someone enlighten me as to why they would not be machined?. Thanks for your time....John

I've had ones like that, FE and 289 ones. I assumed on a race car they wouldn't use the heater and put the temp sender there?

A lot of H & M dual quad intakes went on high performance boats, also.  The need was different for those engines.  Joe-JDC
