Gessford Machine
« on: February 08, 2018, 06:16:05 PM »
I just wanted to say a big thank you to George and his gang at Gessford Machine in Hastings Ne. I am changing from a manual trans to an auto on my 427/452 and I needed to have the balance on the new flexplate compared to my manual flywheel. I sent them my stuff on Monday, they received it Wednesday, balanced the flexplate to match and it was on my doorstep today(Thursday)! You just can't ask for much better service than that.  :)  :)  :)

George is a awesome guy and builder, as well as his crew !
We live about 1.5 hrs from them and every time I visit George, he gives me a oil filter or something. Lol !

Very good people and racers. He also has a wonderful race park.

Why are you changing to a auto ? Just curious.

I originally had the motor in my '66 Galaxie with a TKOII 5 speed behind it as a cruiser. I decided to pull it out and build something lighter for it to go drag racing and I don't really like drag racing with a manual trans. This is going in my '65 Mustang coupe.
