Balancer on the 63- 9" punkin ?
« on: February 16, 2018, 12:33:32 PM »
How important is the balancer on the pinion imput? My 63-1/2 galaxie has one and I`m prepping a new 9" and am trying to decide if I should get a new yoke or transfer the OEM. All I have left is that piece and I can put it in.

In my opinion, those things are for the restoration crowd. I could see them being somewhat useful if the rear has rubber isolator pads, and the owner wants the smoothest ride possible, but not for anything else.

I agree with Doug, I've never used one.
