FS: Arias Pistons, C2AE B rods, Marine pistons
« on: May 04, 2017, 11:15:57 AM »
I was planning on using these pistons for my build but ended up I measured wrong and they are for a 3.78 crank not the 3.98 that's in the block.
Arias Forged pistons +030 427 with fitted pins I'll get the exact diameter later today. Not sure of the dome volume and don't have a way to measure it. Ring size is 1/16-1/16-1/8
Set of 8 Pistons $250 + shipping  I'm getting a set of Racetec's from Brent

C2AE B rods with new ARP bolts installed, small end bushings appear to be honed for fit.
Rods $135 + shipping

Std. bore marine pistons no damage and look good, if any interest I'll post pictures. $60 + shipping

Corrected the ring size on the Arias Pistons

what pin locks do they take and do you have them? Were these a custom order or off the shelf? Any paperwork  with them? Garry

The pistons are used, I got them from a Kirkham Cobra builder here in town when he got out of the business due to cost and timing issues he'd run into.
I bought all his FE inventory. So no paperwork. I called Arias a few years ago and they said they had no way of ID'ing the pistons.
Pin clips are the normal FE and a new set is included.
I measured one piston and with my marginal digital caliper (Harbor Freight) it came out to 4.260 plus or minus a couple of thousandths.
I'm not a HiPo engine builder, I leave that up to someone I know near Ashland Oregon

I sent a private message but cannot tell if it worked? If not, could you email me at fairlaniac@fairlanet.com as I'm interested in the pistons.

Thanks,

Arias Pistons were sent UPS Tuesday with a "if they don't fit" just send them back promise.
Doug only needs to  pay if he keeps them. He's been fantastic in this transaction.

Thanks Richard. I'm tracking them and have no reason to think they won't work. You too have been equally pleasing to deal with.
