Moroso 8 quart Oil Pan
« on: May 10, 2017, 04:33:34 PM »
    Hey guys,

Is it known if a Moroso 8 quart oil pan #20607 will fit 68 full size? Counting bolts holes to visualize fitment and looking at what's there it going to be close to the crossmember. Then, the drain plug faces back, which may not work.  The car is a Colony Park, I'd guess a Galaxy would be the same.

  thanks,

Not sure on the Moroso, but when I reinstalled the cammer in the '67 Gal, using a 7 qt. Milodon 31130 I had to grind /cut the lower "flange" weld on the main cross member for clearance.  Tough to do with engine hanging just above your head on a creeper.  So, I would suggest that you cut/grind this area with plenty of room so the pan doesn't hit or come close anywhere before you install the engine.
Good luck.
