My mph was way down 105- 115 usually in the 120s. So I was around 6000 maybe a little less. I don't think the overdrive is meant for full throttle with 500 hp. I don't think it will hold up like the Gear Venders over drive.

I didn't mean to use the overdrive while racing, just that with it, you could probably get away with more gear for the 1-4 gears in the 1/4 and it would still be street friendly with the overdrive. Just a thought, but I know the engine is your first concern.
