update,after taking my switch apart,checked all the grounds,coil and box.i found the problem.i somehow got alot of moisture in my dist cap.even the little springs that set the advance were rusted bad.after cleaning everything up with q-tips and a little wd40,it fired right up and its never sounded better.i cant wait to get her out but its been raining for 4 days.my new headers are about 3 inches shorter than my old ones.i have an x pipe and 3 inch pipes out the back. im going to have to drive it open headers for about 5 or6 miles to the muffler shop to add a few inches of pipe between the header flange and my x pipe.
