Rocker tip grinder
« on: March 25, 2017, 12:53:55 AM »
Tought i should share this here after reading heos rocker woes.I know this will rise many opinions but idea seems to be working,Tested on two rockers last night.I will need finer finer stone to the drill chuck.

Couple years go i hand filed 16 rockers (3M diamond file and emery cloth) its a pain in the ass job and tuogh im not that old years polishing bike parts and riding them in cold whitout proper clothing have taken its toll.

As FEroadster noted in heos topic i got few sets rockers from him(thanks again) started thinking that i have to make some kind of tool for this job.

Yeap! it works, that cartridge roll was little too course and grinding stones that i could find here bit too fine.Something in midle would been fine, roughed 30 some of them and i think 8 finished well they need little diamond file finish.
Just have to keep eye on the straightness of the tip all the time.my hobby corner is in new place so dont have all the bells and whistles around me
