need help

Hope everyone had a Happy Easter. What lower radiator hose do I need for my 66 Fairlane with a Howe rad 1 3/4" fitting to an Edelbrock water pump with a 2 1/4" fitting? Thank you.

I don't know if a ready-made hose is available for that combination, but you can always piece two hoses together.  I've had to do that on several cars with aftermarket aluminum radiators.  Usually I start with a stock hose that fits the water pump, and then talk the parts counter guy into letting me look at all the radiator hoses hanging in the back, then pick one that looks like it can be made to work.  You can splice them together with a piece of exhaust tubing and a couple of hose clamps.  Same deal with electric pumps.  Here's a link to the instructions for my electric water pump adapters, which include some tips on how to make the lower hose work:

I've used the rubber adapter sleeves to downsize the hose to fit a smaller radiator.  That is what I've done on my two galaxies with aftermarket universal radiators.

I've used these:

on my Mack truck for air intake and upper radiator hose.  Lots of selection.

Thank you Jay and Larry, I'll go hunting today. I'm not going to make it to the FE Reunion but I'll be at Keystone in September that's a great weekend too.

My Edelbrock water pump has a 2" neck, above the flared lip, so I used a 2" to 1 3/4" rad hose reducer found on this page.  They have many sizes, including 2 1/4" to 1 3/4".  Straights, 45's and 90's are available.

Thanks for the info I ordered a 2 1/4" X 1 3/4" and 1 3/4" fitting. Should work just fine.
