Well Guys I am retired from the job I had for 28 years .I have been replacing the convertor in my comet and freshening up my c6 transmisson as well It took a bit of work on my part but all is running now .In my driveway I tried my 8" ati convertor .It feels like it has 50 lbs. more than my 10" tci .Hopefully I can get a test date at my local racetrack (silver dollar raceway) Reynold Ga. I have been trying to buy a new truck too.I want an f150 xl .You wouldnt beleive the runaround I have gotten .And still no truck .If anyone is interested I did a buildup on my transmisson on www.429-460.com It has all the gory details my mistakes and specs .Just a backyard mechanic that loves drag racing  ;D Doug
