I bet that setup would be worth a pretty penny today. Love those valve covers.

I remember A Model A coupe with a Lincoln engine
with Paxtons that feed through ....a "couple of hundred
brake lines" ALASANE or something like that was it called
By the way  i have not enough legroom in a 32 coupe
who can drive it with that engine setback  :o

Some observations....

-one very well finished car for the era as most early drag cars were 'go' only. Note all the chrome, great paint, tinted windows (which I'll guess were Plexiglass as window tint and Lexan were not available back then) chromed wheels, etc.
-would like to know what's professionally lettered on the door. Looks to be A/A as in A class Altered.
-where this pic was taken would be neat too. I'll guess it was SoCal due to the Mooneyes decal, the clothing and a few other tips.
-knowing what the lettering is on the back of that fellow's jacket would also help. I thought "....L.A." but the spacing is wrong.

Very cool and that gal in the background looked pretty hot for the time too! LOL

During the summer of 1960, I bought a '34 five-window coupe. I paid $100 for it with a 59A engine that needed half-a-day's work to get running. And I had no side-window glass. There was a fad, at least locally for what was called 'Cobalt' glass. A fairly dark blue tint surely looked great from the outside but I took a ride with a school friend with a '32 coupe who had it. It was surely too much at night, so I passed on getting it from the local glass place. They wanted $80 for a whole set for the 5-window.
