NHRA approved hoses
« on: November 23, 2016, 08:17:55 AM »
I am upgrading my fuel system to 1/2 inch aluminum supply and return lines under the car that connect to bulkheads on the fender well. Can I use woven hose that is listed as approved on the NHRA website to connect the bulkheads on my fenderwell with the fuel pressure regulator by the carb? Does anyone know if NHRA treats the approved woven hose (Fragola series 8000) like rubber line or braided steel as far as length limitation? Jim

I'm not sure how NHRA views it, but I have used braided AN line from tank to carb (or injectors) and never been called on it by the tech inspector.  I think they are mostly worried about plain rubber hose - Jay

Along those lines.... I did the same.

-8 SS braided hose and fittings start to finish.
The Summit hose is very decently priced and worked fine with no issues.
