Vac. Secondary lids for dual quad setup?
« on: January 10, 2016, 09:55:07 PM »
Does Holley still make the correct looking lids? The ones I've seen as replacements have a tall boss on top that seems to have no purpose. They don't look like the ones that came on the carbs years ago.

Carl's Ford Parts has them. They aren't 100% the same, but pretty close.

Some have taken a stock cap and drilled/tapped the hole in the top and added brass screw-in, right-angled nipples to the same effect.

Yes that is my plan...but for 90 bucks for the pair you would think that Holley thru Summit Racing would have them looking like the originals.

If it's not about being totally "original" get the plastic covers for less $$.
