Alternator Bracket for Jay's Water Pump Adaptor
« on: November 12, 2015, 07:13:45 AM »
Wondering if anyone has used an aftermarket aluminum alternator bracket with Jay's
electric water pump adapter.
Appreciate any info.

I have not used either, but doesn't the water pump adapter have the mounting hole where the factory location is, just for the purpose of using the bracket? If the aluminum bracket is meant for a stock type mounting, then there shouldn't be any reason it wouldn't work on his adapter.

The holes are the same but the way the adapter is made you have to grind out a little place in it
for it to clear. Not a big deal.  I can use a regular factory bracket but was hoping to see if anyone had modified an
aluminum one and which one they used.
Thanks
