Gee, I wish I could take some rare Fords and Holdens and turn them into junkyard bait in a matter of seconds. Idiots. Would have been far more interesting if the drivers had caught on fire. For that I'd jump on a plane so I could smell it live. Mmmm, aussies on the barby!

The majority of that was filmed at my local drag strip, where they have a specific burn out pad.

I personally do not see the attraction in burn out competitions, especially when it involves destroying cars that are getting rare and expensive engines. Some Holdens in that clip are a dime a dozen, but some of the older iron is getting thin on the ground. These guys seem to get a thrill out of being cheered on by the pin heads in the crowd who only want to see destruction. But at least it keeps the dickheads doing stupid big burn outs off the streets and out of the car parks.

Agree! I was surprised as I had thought it was only burnouts too when I clicked on it at first.

Seeing the destruction though of cars doesn't make any sense to me either. It's like some wheelie contests where the crowd goes wild when a car actually flips over. I don't get why the owners would do this.

I do hate seeing old iron busted up because of stupidity, but I also admire the Aussies for still having that "old west" mentality that has been beaten out of us here 'mericans.

Minnesota? Well heck, it looks like Jay will get the opportunity to showcase his burnout skills in the Mach again.
