It's not that we're ignoring you it's just that Ford and Pro stock are such mutually exclusive terms. :o
For that matter Ford and NHRA. ::)
I'd like to know more about him. Off to Google I go.

That is a really cool looking intake! Does he have the upper plenum fabricated yet?

Well, I saw a lot about going Pro stock racing in 2015 but no results can I find except for SS racing.

Don't know but....

When Larry Morgan, designer and prime supplier of NHRA'a approved Ford Pro Stock heads pulled out late last year (now running a Chevy!) after not doing so well last year, one could guess that all others followed suit. The only other notable was Jim Cunningham who pulled out a few years ago as well. Methinks with the latest changes NHRA has posted for 2016 in an effort to resurrect this quickly dying class (the many  less than 16 car fields is a big tipoff) any one new to the field would be foolish to run a Ford.

Sorry, but NHRA brought this upon themselves with the entire field at most events covered by less than a .005 e.t. difference and cars that all look alike save for the decals. They look like oversized jelly beans when one compares a real Mustang or GM make to a current Pro car. That and it's like watching a bunch of 9.90 bracket racers.....except they are a lot faster.

Put a fork in this class, it's done except NHRA won't admit that....at least yet. JMO!

I think Ford wants to win LeMans so bad for the 50th anniversary , the pulled money from everywhere

That intake is for a FE high riser, for one of Ray Paquet's super stock engines. Pretty wild one off stuff, I especially like the rocker bar and those must be some long pivot rockers with big offsets as well.

Charlie has had his 500" FORD pro stock engine on the dyno a few times, hadn't been in the car as of 2 weeks ago. He hopes to make some test runs this year yet, and if quick enough, he will race maybe a few events before the end of the season. The on to the new rule changes and work on it over the winter for that.

I hope he does weel, he is pretty smart and has set records with Chevy and Mopar engines, so seeing how he will be the only one in a FORD in Pro Stock, I sure hope he does well. He did run his mouth a year ago, and piss some people off, so hopefully he can back it up with performance. He tells it like it is and pulls no punches...

Not a bad first outing. I wish him well.

That intake and rocker bar are very inventive. Expanding the pic it looks like it attaches the rocker bar down in several points and not all inline the available systems. It looks like the valve cover rail is an inch further inboard too.
