Dont think I'm nuts or anything, after all its just a question, LoL but I was wondering if anyone had ever sleeved an aluminium BBM, Pond, Shelby, or Genesis block down to 428 bore. ?

While I haven't done it, I see no reason why it couldn't be done. Aluminum blocks are sleeved all the time. It would just take a thicker sleeve. BBM was supposed to produce a block with a 428 bore, but I have not seen it yet.

They have one but it's a cast iron block. Shouldn't be any issue on finding a sleeve that will work though if you wanted to do it to an aluminum block.
