31 spline slip yoke
« on: March 13, 2015, 08:16:44 PM »
Is there a 31 spline slip yoke available that accepts the 1350 u joint for my Galaxie toploader?
I found several for the 1330 joint but none for the 1350.
I just built a new center section and I used the 1350 yoke, thinking I would upgrade
the driveshaft when I finished the transmission repairs(by next weekend).
Not the end of the world, I can use the 1350x1330 joint if I have to.
Just thought it would be stronger and less parts to keep track of.
Thanks for any help.

I haven't checked, but I'll bet you could get one from one of the specialty driveline suppliers, like Mark Williams Enterprises or Moser...

Thanks for those links.
Are the c6 and top loader yokes interchangeable?
I found c6 yokes for the 1350 joint, but they don't mention the top loader.
Thanks again,Tom.

Yes, C6 is the same as the large output toploader.

I built my 56 F100 with a 427 and a big in/out toploader and I remember getting my yoke from Dave Kee. Yes the c6 output is the same as the toploader.

Thanks for all the links, not sure why I didn't come up with those.
All the toploader yokes that I have had seem longer than the c6 yokes,
though my current yoke is counter bored.
Thanks again.

There were C6 1350 yokes in some F350's, for sure the mid 80's diesels. I've got no idea if they were slip or bolt on.

Now that's something I didn't think of,Tom.
I'll try to remember that for the next time.
I found a local drive shaft shop and they are getting everything.
Thanks
