Royce,
Congrats on those builds, and thanks for posting them!  What cars are those engines planned for?

Just want to remind everyone that an MEL 430 T-Bird came within a photo-finish of winning the Daytona 500 in 1959... Darn that Lee Petty in his Olds!

Bruce, A lot of people ask me what i am putting these engines in.. The answer is I don't know. I do not have cars waiting for either one.. I like building engines more than I like building the cars to put them in. My inventory includes another MEL with a Paxton blower,  a 412 inch Y block project, and a stock 368 Mercury Turnpike Cruiser engine. I am also planning a stockish 312 with an old school Latham supercharger, and a big inch Lincoln 368 with EFI

I do have one project that is engine-less.  It is a glass body, tube chassis 57 T bird that is certified to 8.50. The injected Y Block would most likely get the nod on that..

1955 Thunderbird Competition Coupe Altered Chassis "War Bird" 383 Lincoln Y block 520 hp
1955 Thunderbird 292 275 hp Y Block
1956 Ford Victoria 292 Y block

1957 Mercury 2dr Wagon "Battle Wagon" drag car
1957 Thunderbird Glass body Tube Chassis drag car 333 cu in 500 hp Ford Y block
1961 Starliner 390/375 clone
1965 GT40 tribute w/FE
1966 Falcon Pro Touring project
Kaase Boss 547. 840 HP 698 Torque  pump gas
1992 BMW V-12 5.0
2001 Lincoln 5.4 4 cam
2000 Jaguar XK8 (Ford V8)
