Since the readership in this group and over at 332-428 FE is not quite the same I'm posting this here as well---------
I am in process of assisting in the publication of several ebook novels. The basic thread through all the books is extremely accurate car stuff within an action-adventure format Since the main character drives a SOHC/turbo engined Cobra Daytona I believe it's apropos to mention it here. The first of these books will be offered sometime after the first of the year. To aid in this process, I am asking for those of you who might have interest in such material to go to a just-set-up website where you will find excerpts from two of the books.
The first of these excerpts---a couple of chapters---is from the first book in the series and is, bluntly, quite 'Adult'. There is a strong emphasis, through all three of the books, on reality. For those of you who might care, the first excerpt has met with strong positive reception from 'the distaff side'. But then the 'Fifty Shades...' stuff from a couple of years ago found strong acceptance from women. In this case guys often seem to like it also.
The second excerpt has to do with street-racing in Metro Detroit. Although for obvious reasons, the subject matter is offered as being fiction, some of you will recognize names presented in the writing and might well remember when some of this appeared both on TV and in the newspapers. I'll leave it to you to decide what you think is real!
