sub-frame connectors for 1966 Cyclone
« on: April 27, 2026, 03:19:32 PM »
Does anyone have experience with sub-frame connectors for 66/67 Comet/Fairlane? What works well for under the floor connectors. My primary concern is not bending the car if it ever hooks up. Thanks in advance. Chuck

I don't race it but you can see what I did to my 66 Fairlane here;

Maybe the best thing I have ever done. Car drives so well now.

Thanks for the link. The work you did is very cool but, way past my fabrication skill level. Chuck

Not hard to fabricate your own .I did the ones on my 67 comet drag car just tie in the torque boxes .I used 1''x2'' tubing and some flat plate to go to the rear torque boxes .Crites sold a kit for this but they are gone.Doug
