isky sohc cams

have a pair of isky so-12000 cams,catalog shows opening and closing and adv duration,but not sure how they would work on a na build.here is the specs if anyone can determine the duration at .050 .may have to wait untill the cams are degreed to get if they are usable in my build.the cams are in good condition and could be used as is.

A good lobe catalog will show a theoretical checking duration and a duration at the valve.  With SOHC engines, the cam is degreed at the valve, not on the lobe like a traditional engine.

so i have another set of cams that are lsm on the box.they are new,and i had isky run them on there profile machine,and was wondering if these would work good in a 489 sohc street engine with approx 11-1 compression.i cant tell much myself from the printouts,but i know they are 282 at .050 duration ans about .610 lift.will not run over 7,000 rpm and have dual plane factory intake.also not sure about carbs but originals are maybe out of my range on price.

The information you have there is more related to how each lobe is designed, getting down to velocity, acceleration, jerk, etc.  A lot of data is missing. 

On an overhead cam engine, you have to have a lot more information, usually checking duration and duration at the valve.
