First of it's kind out the mold....Tunnel Wedge intake for the big Windsors!   I have been pleading with the BIG manifold companies for 15 years to make them but only the sound of crickets.
Finally found a company to get the job done! Will be going on my 427W to replace the current Price 2x4 intake which is still a great manifold. Only 5 to be made right now by JAK Performance.

Bottom pic my current Price 2x4 intake

Only five?  Do you have an approximate price?  Finally, what did you use for the linkage on your current setup?
Thanks,
Dan

JAK Performance  needed a minimum order of 5 to get them cast. Then they are sent to him for all the machine work and the casting is done in Michigan. $2400 is the current price and there are 2
still available from my latest info.  Yes it is a $$$ item but I wanted them made. They might be ready to within a month.

My linkage for the Price intake is a copy of the stock FE type 2X4 setup that came with my manifold.

Since I have an all aluminum 427W I will say that I would rather have a Super Victor or a Holley tunnel ram than that intake.  I have two FE TWs, and FWIW, I believe I can make as much power with the Super Victor and be a lot less hassle.  If I want to have the looks of a TW, then I would just install one on my Shelby, or one of the stroker FEs.  That is a lot of money for something that is mostly for looks and may not work very well in real life.  It should be better than the Price intake, they are junk without some real porting work.  I have ported them, so I know what I am talking about.  Let the hatred begin.  Joe-JDC

Know all about the Super Victor since I built the engine with that setup and a custom Holley flowing 870 cfm. Ran very well as in scary pull in 3rd gear where it would get traction on the street.
Having grown up around factory muscle in the 60's a Ford 427 of any design needs a pair of Holley carbs for the power and looks and that's what I want. The Price intake was only thing out there back in 2015 so installed that and it runs really well but doesn't of course have that big pull over 4500 RPM like the SV intake. The TW intake will act like a pair of single plane intakes and we will see how the 427W likes it in my setup.  I WANTED an intake like this for years and finally got somebody interested enough to make it. At age 71 I don't want to be laying in my pine box one day wishing I had got that Tunnel Wedge for 351 Windsors made! Have a few guns worth that much or more so money  not that big a deal.  Not a race car....just my street machine for the last 40 years!
Made 480 at the wheels and 505 Torque all in at  5600 RPM with the Price unit in my mild cammed 427W with TFS 225 High Ports back on a hot day in 2018 so not too bad.

Last pic.... this don't make any sense either but it sits in my shop....memorial to my brother who passed back in January who DID NOT fulfill his dream!

i think its great that you did that.nice looking manifold for sure.and much cheaper thatn a billet or sheet metal intake.would be cool with bungs for direct port injection and a couple of throttle bodies.at least theres another chioce for a sbf, unlike sbc or ls that have a million ones out there.
