Hemi Joel found this and sent it to me.. Of course his real purpose was to rub in the fact that a 57 Plymouth with a Hemi won the event.. But the Mermaid acquitted itself well and some say bested the Plymouth" top speed before losing a radiator hose.. Some of you know I built a tribute car around the Mermaid.. I owned it and showed it for a few years Then sold it about 5 yr ago Last I knew it ended up in a collection in Cali
